Hospitals We Serve

Sophie’s Legacy charity currently provides snack and toiletry boxes to children’s ward and neonatal wards in 12 hospitals across the South of England.

This includes hospitals in Southampton, Portsmouth, Sutton, Chichester, Worthing, Guildford, Basingstoke, Winchester, Salisbury, The Isle of Wight, Poole and Dorset.

Southampton, Hampshire

Southampton General Hospital

The Southampton General is the largest hospital we look after with 13 wards ranging from Children's, Teenage and Young Adult Cancer to Neonatal Intensive Care.

Portsmouth, Hampshire

Queen Alexandra Hospital

Queen Alexandra's Starfish, Shipwreck, Neonatal Intensive Care and more wards are covered by volunteers from Sophie's Legacy.

Winchester, Hampshire

Royal Hampshire County Hospital (Winchester)

Royal Hampshire is managed by Sarah McDowall and covers the Northbrook Ward, Sophie's Place and Neonatal Unit.

Chichester, West Sussex

St Richard’s Hospital (Chichester)

St Richard's Hospital, Chichester is run by Vicky Andrews and Louisa Kingham. They cover Howard Ward and Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU)

Basingstoke, Hampshire

Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital

Basingstoke Hospital is run by Sophie's Auntie, Victoria Rampton and covers the G2 children's ward.

Guildford, Surrey

Royal Surrey County Hospital (Guildford)

The Royal Surrey Hospital is run by Sophie's Auntie, Katrina Prentki and covers The Hascombe Ward and Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU).

Salisbury, Wiltshire

Salisbury District Hospital

Salisbury Hospital is run by Natalie Mansbridge (Sophie's Auntie) and covers the Sarum children's ward and Special Care Baby Unit.

Isle of Wight

St. Mary’s Hospital (Isle of Wight)

St. Mary's Hospital, Newport is run by Kayleigh Martin and covers the children's ward and Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU).

Sutton, Surrey

The Royal Marsden (Sutton)

The Sophie's Legacy team of volunteers look after the McElwain Children's Cancer Ward at The Royal Marsden in Sutton.

Dorset County Hospital (Dorchester)

Dorset County Hospital is covered by Hannah Foote, who looks after the children's ward and Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU).
